Dispatch Planning of a Wide-Area Wind Power-Energy Storage Scheme Based on Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition Technique

چکیده
This article addresses the challenging task of developing a procedure for day-ahead dispatch planning wind power which emanates from wide geographical area. Using complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition technique, it is shown that low-frequency components area aggregated account largest proportions perturbing energy harnessed wind. By taking advantage slow-varying characteristics components, accurate forecast these readily obtained and incorporated into developed procedure. The dispatchability wide-area generation facilitated by buffering actions offered centralized storage system, operating under proposed flows control strategy. efficacy illustrated using pumped hydroelectric system as medium.
